The Curse Of Castle McDuck’ Scrooge goes to Scotland… for some reason. Pop culture references include: Pulp Fiction, Spinal Tap, Star Wars, Eric Clapton, The Crying Game, Full House, Austin Powers, The Great Escape, Grease, The Wizard Of Oz, Mad Max, Smokey The Bear and the guy who is the spokesperson for lamb in Australia.
This episode of DuckTale kinda spends half of its runtime just sniping it’s wheel so expect tons of tangents from Michael and Sarah. The biggest surprise in this episode is that one of the bad guys share his name wit a guy they both know. If you don’t know anything about The Simpsons, time to worry because Sarah can’t stop quoting it.
Sorry about the sound, we’ve had a malfunction. It’ll be all fixed for next week. This episode is about Launchpad and his family and an experimental jet and vacuum cleaners and the Beagle Boys and redemption and McDonald’s toys.
This week’s episode is all about Shakespeare, therefore Sarah and Michael talk about cranberry juice adverts, The Muppets Christmas Carol, Titanic, The Nutty Professor, The Music Man, Neighbours, Fraggle Rock, The Jetsons and of course, Marty Feldman.
Scrooge looses all his money to a fox with knowledge of contract law. Sarah and Michael make up a new radio station and discover a new sign-off.
La lala la la, la lala laaa la, la lala laaaa la, la la la laaaaaa!
Our least favourite character Doofus gets an entire episode to himself AND there’s no Scrooge but Michael and Sarah still enjoy themselves. They keep entertained by talking about every other show that isn’t DuckTales: The Nanny, Seinfeld, The Goodies, Fawlty Towers, Samurai Pizza Cats etc.
If you’re on Team Michael you’re going to be excited by the number of crashes in today’s ep. Michael is almost asleep, Sarah sings Stairway To Heaven and Launchpad discovers what a true hero is AGAIN!
The gang discover the Lost World. Launchpad does the funniest thing ever seen on the show.
Gadget man, Gadget man, Gadget man, Gadget man, Gadget man!
